Over the past month, the live-action animated feature, Peter Rabbit has been adapting Sydney’s Centennial Parklands into the English countryside. The production is supported by Screen NSW through a state incentive and location and production support from their team.
Director Will Gluck said of the shoot,“I am so thankful to the stellar Aussie crew that helped bring Peter and McGregor’s garden to life. It was not only fun to shoot in and around Sydney, but it looks spectacular.”
The production will now move into post-production at Sydney’s Animal Logic Studios with sound post-production by Oscar-winning mixer and editors, Andy Wright (Soundfirm Sydney) and Robert Mackenzie.
Producer Zareh Nalbandian said, “While we are calling ‘wrap’ on the live-action production, we have a long and exciting road ahead at Animal Logic Studios, as we bring Peter Rabbit and his friends to life through animation and visual FX.”
Work will continue at our Sydney home-base throughout 2017 with over 300 specialised crew working across the life of the production.
