Mod is attached to the latest production for the USC Shoah Foundation, established by Steven Spielberg to record and preserve interviews with Holocaust survivors and witnesses.
The team will be working alongside DOP, Paul Nichola on the Dimensions in Testimony project, using a multi-camera array to capture massive amounts of data, which will be turned into cinematic quality interactive biographies. We’ll be shooting at the Sydney Jewish Museum over the next few months and we’re honoured to be entrusted to work on this important project, capturing irreplaceable oral histories from precious elders.
In other news, Mod director Michela Ledwidge has recently been working with Alex Proyas and his Heretic Foundation creative syndicate to help get their new studio workflows up and running with Unreal Engine for Virtual Production.
Finally, US-based Epic Games, maker of Unreal Engine, has featured Michela in its ‘Meet Someone Unreal’ series.
We’re always keen to meet filmmakers looking to learn more about how Virtual Production might work for their production.
