Twentieth Century Fox Television, the American studio behind the international sensations 24 and Glee will shoot the eagerly anticipated sci-fi/adventure series Terra Nova in Queensland. This further cements Queensland’s place as one of the world’s most desirable production destinations.

Steven Spielberg, Peter Chernin, Craig Silverstein, Kelly Marcel, Brannon Braga, Jon Cassar, Aaron Kaplan, Katherine Pope, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank serve as executive producers. Alex Graves will direct the pilot episode. The Pilot and series will shoot at locations around South East Queensland including Gold Coast’s Village Roadshow Studios, Bonogin and Mount Tamborine as well as Brisbane.

Screen Queensland hosted two scouts for the project and worked hard to promote Queensland as the location of choice to executives. Gold Coast City Council and Brisbane City Council – two of the state’s most film-friendly Councils – are also actively supporting the production.
