Filming in and around Hobart, Tasmania was an exciting experience for me as Australian Executive Producer of the Australian/Canadian co-production “Arctic Blast”.
Screen Tasmania, the local State agency, managed to procure significant co-operation for us from other government departments, the emergency services, the CSIRO and the people and businesses in that city.
Enthusiastic local crew, extras and local cast, combined with the astounding natural beauty of the locations, its clean air and beautiful light, made the movie look magical.
It was a welcoming supportive environment and I’m sure we’ll be back.
