MELBOURNE CENTRAL CITY STUDIOS
Melbourne Central City Studios is Australia’s newest, purpose-built studio complex. Comprising of 5 state-of-the-art sound stages ranging from 743 square metres (8,000 square ft) to 2,323 square metres (25,000 square ft). Each stage houses production support facilities, including make-up, green and star dressing rooms as well as general purpose spaces. The upper floors house self-contained production offices. MCCS also boasts a 6,793 square metres (73,096 square ft) warehouse (mill).
Credits include: Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (Miramax) Knowing (Summit Entertainment production, starring Nicolas Cage), The Pacific (a Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks & Gary Goetzman production, produced by HBO/Playtone), Where The Wild Things Are (Warner Bros. production).
