Talent Profile - Jane Campion

Newsletter Articles

Jane Campion is the only woman to ever have won a Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival. Not only that, she’s won it twice. They probably sit on her mantle next to her Oscar. This year Jane has been selected to return to Cannes to screen her new feature Bright Star as part of the festival’s official competition.

Bright Star is the story of the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats, and Fanny Brawne, cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. The film stars Australian actor Abbie Cornish (Stop-Loss, Elizabeth: The Golden Age) and will be release internationally on the 25th June.
