Village Roadshow and Warner Roadshow Studios are set to launch a new digital film laboratory based at the Warner Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast.

With this additional infrastructure in place, Warner Roadshow Studios will be a complete world class facility incorporating eight sound stages, the southern hemisphere's largest underwater filming facility and the new state-of-the-art digital film laboratory.

In addition to traditional film processing of 16 and 35mm colour negatives, Village Roadshow Digital Film Laboratory will provide a complete rushes service, including HD and SD telecine rushes and data backup, and processing of images acquired through new digital acquisition formats such as Genesis and RED. Film restoration and recording will also be available.
